Explore Mode, Funnel Intelligence, and MCP Tools — Late March 2026

Two weeks after our mid-March release, we are back with another round of major improvements. This update introduces Explore Mode for guided analytics journeys, intelligent funnel suggestions that recommend which funnels to build, first-touch and last-touch revenue attribution, over 80 MCP tools for managing Zenovay through AI assistants, and sweeping accessibility improvements across the entire platform. Here is everything new.

Explore Mode — Guided Analytics Journeys

The dashboard now features a new Explore tab that replaces static chart browsing with guided data journeys. Instead of clicking between tabs and wondering what to look at next, Explore Mode presents structured analytical paths: traffic source analysis, user retention patterns, page flow mapping, and lifetime value tracking.

Each journey pulls data from existing analytics endpoints and presents it through interactive visualizations with step-by-step progression. Complete one step, and the next reveals itself with relevant context. The experience works entirely from your existing data with no additional setup or configuration required.

Deep-linking support means you can bookmark or share any step in a journey via URL parameters, making it easy to direct teammates to specific analytical views.

Smart Funnel Suggestions

Building conversion funnels used to require knowing exactly which pages to track. Now Zenovay analyzes your traffic patterns and suggests the most valuable funnels to create automatically.

The system examines multi-page sessions, identifies common user paths, and recommends funnel configurations that would surface the most actionable conversion data. Suggestions are cached for fast loading and deduplicated to avoid overlap. If you are new to funnel analysis, this feature removes the guesswork entirely.

Funnel Drop-off Cause Analysis

Understanding where users drop off is only half the story. The new drop-off cause analysis examines why users leave at each funnel step.

By correlating drop-off points with traffic sources, device types, and geographic data, the analysis surfaces patterns that help you diagnose conversion issues. If mobile users consistently drop off at step three while desktop users continue, you now know exactly where to focus your optimization efforts.

First-touch and Last-touch Revenue Attribution

Two new attribution models help you understand how marketing channels contribute to revenue. First-touch attribution credits the channel that originally brought a customer to your site, while last-touch attribution credits the channel of their most recent visit before conversion.

Both models are available through the dashboard and through MCP tools, so you can access attribution data programmatically or through AI assistants. This is a foundational step toward full multi-touch attribution modeling in a future release.

MCP Integration — 83 Tools for AI Assistants

Zenovay now offers over 83 Model Context Protocol tools across eight categories, making it one of the most comprehensive MCP integrations in the analytics space. Manage websites, analytics queries, revenue data, funnels, webhooks, automation rules, and uptime monitoring through natural conversation with AI assistants.

The new MCP tab in your settings page shows every available tool organized by category with permission controls. Deep-linking lets you navigate directly to specific tool categories from external documentation or automation workflows.

Plan enforcement is built in: each tool respects your subscription tier automatically, so you always know exactly what you can access.

AI Chat Panel Improvements

The AI analysis panel received significant polish in this release. The panel is now resizable — drag the left border to adjust width between 320 and 600 pixels, and the dashboard reflows in real time. AI reasoning steps are displayed separately in muted text above the main insight, so you can see the analytical process without it cluttering the answer.

A new copy button appears on hover over any AI response, and conversation state now persists when the panel is closed and reopened. Session resets happen automatically when you change the date period or granularity, ensuring insights always match the data you are viewing.

Platform Accessibility and New Tools

This release included a platform-wide accessibility audit across the help center, documentation site, and community forum. Improvements span keyboard navigation, screen reader support, proper ARIA roles and landmarks, and print stylesheet support for documentation.

The free tools library also grew with new additions including an IP subnet calculator, color blindness simulator, SVG path editor, CSS flexbox generator, DNS record reference, and several more developer utilities — all available without an account.

  • Help center: Keyboard-navigable chat widget, search combobox, and history items with full screen reader announcements
  • Documentation: Accessible API playground, focus traps, semantic time elements, and preconnect performance hints
  • Community: JSON-LD structured data, locale-aware date formatting, and Secure cookie flags
  • Free tools: File type validation, form validation across 85 tool forms, and E2E smoke test coverage

Getting Started

Explore Mode, funnel suggestions, and the MCP tab are available now in your Zenovay dashboard. Revenue attribution requires a connected payment source. Visit your settings page to browse the full MCP tool catalog, or open the Explore tab to start your first guided analytics journey.
